    My testies agree. I was lucky it broke off less than 500 metres from the university, and last time less than 500 from my house, it made for a short walk. The workshop at the university had a bolt and nut in the right size Last time, I got those from a bike shop, that's the one that failed this morning.
    I thought holland was full of those heavy steel framed thingys that everyone in amsterdam seems to own, they do have a certain cult status, a bit like trabants

    I just talked to a friend on his new cell phone. He is 70+ years old and it is his first! Glad he has a land line so I could call him there and explain things.

    He is thinking about getting a laptop....
