Really?! I could not imagine enogastronomy was that odd. It is the discipline of pairing, cooking and using wine in cooking. As for pogonotomy, it is what we all love here. It is from greek: pogon = beard, tomos = cutting, that is "shaving".

im one of those "unlettered and ordinary" (yes that's a quote from a famous book) guys, but my understanding of things and people goes far beyond my ability to put it into words. I have a more visceral connection to things and people around me vs having the learned means of expression.but I do love to hear or read others expressions and learn new things from it

Doorman at a condominium building. I'm the guy who gives you your mail, settles your disputes, tells you when your breaking the rules, and has to write up reports when you do ergh ,patrols your building to make sure it's not blowing up or being burglarized (caught a car thief and a bike thief before yay me) spends 5 hours in the cold shoveling your snow, watches your cat and fish and hermit crab and waters your plants while your gone, decks your halls with boughs of Holly, gives you sage advice and all sorts of random knowledge ha ha , parks your car and makes sure all the doors are shut, finds you a parking space and has you towed when your illegally parked, paints your parking areas and walls, washes the windows (the lower ones anyway) and cleans the pool sometimes, makes you gumbo when your homesick, trades recipes with you, copies and faxes your passport when your stranded in some foreign place, calls you a cab and or ambulance when you need it ,mops and vacumes your floors and helps you spring clean your home , spends three days clearing out years of crap from your building storage areas without complaint(much),helps your drunk self to the door when needed, plants your flowers sometimes, grows great tomatoes and bell peppers and tends yours as well, gives your dog a nice treat and a pet on the head , and walks you up the stairs and lights the way and carries your groceries six flights in the dark when the power goes out on the block. How may I help you ?. ... Hmmm I'm gonna use all this for my resume.... got any caretaker or security jobs open ?? Yep...I'm a Doorman

I can only imagine the witty humerous shaming you must've put your perps through when you caught them. The Hirlau justice system strikes fear ,shame and humour in the evildoers ! +1
