Somewhere I have pics of us walking up and down the AK pipeline, -60f on good days and dips of -125f in the 88/89 winter... Nothing frigging worked, batteries froze, gas gelled, plastics shattered, food and water??? only after it thawed enough under your clothes to eat and drink
