Thanked: 2591Went to the gym today with the kids. Had a great time, did 1.5 miles running and a bunch of sit ups, the little ones got to play for an hour.
I hate how hard it is to watch what I eat for my gym adventures to have effect...I wish I was 20.Stefan

With about three months into this SR thing, I am trying to avoid RAD, SAD, HAD, and all the other AD's you folks so easily spread...

I am becoming sensitive to pollen. Would you believe there is pollen in the winter? Here in the Puget Sound there is. Aarrgh! Juniper pollen is at mid range this week. It's like having part of a cold but my eyes itch. Other than that I am feeling pretty good. On the shaving front feeling really good. I'm finally getting past the razor burn.

Thanked: 580Pretty tuckered out after a hard days work getting a building I have been working on for 4 months ready for code of compliance certificate, which it passed today. Middle of summer here, and it has been a crazy hot few days, so now enjoying a couple of cold ones and contemplating which razor I am about to shave with. My wife and I are loving the company of two of our granddaughters who are here for a few days over their summer break, one is 8, one is 14 months. To have that opportunity brings back memories of how much I enjoyed the time I spent with my own grandparents. I feel privileged.

Just had a good sleep and enjoying a good cup of coffee, so right now great. Putting yesterday's events into perspective. We had an "unsolicited request for drive through interior design service" at my business. When I called our property manager to inform them of the car in the store, they couldn't be bothered! When I reported it to the our board of directors they really didn't care either. This was just after my counter top fabricator called to tell me that they had broken my new kitchen top in fabrication and there isn't another slab available in town...last night I was not in a good space.
The counter top will get done in its time and we are not out of business. The wall can be repaired. So, I am on an even keel and ready for a productive day at work!
Now, I still haven't heard how the OP is fairing...The easy road is rarely rewarding.

I am feeling quite well this morning. Went to the store, had some Guatemala coffee and as soon as I log off I am going to shave. Life is good.
Had that carpal tunnel surgery. I went back to the doc after three days and demanded a new cast. It felt like glass shards were tearing into my hand. They kindly put on a new cast with no relied to the itching and told me the sensations were the nerves recovering from the surgery. Of course, they were right but it really did itch for a week.
Pixelfixed is a lot older than my current self (well, 11 months). But I do know about aches and pains. Thank goodness for Dilaudid and Vistral. If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

Thanked: 41I'm feeling pretty good ! I've been sober for 2 months cut out all fast food and been working 75+ hours a week.
The 1st couple of weeks without booze or ff were terrible, but now I don't feel the urge to stop and get a burger for lunch At all. I'm not gonna lie, the liquor store always wants to pull me in ( I believe that's a fight I'll have forever ).
The work hours which sound terrible are a blessing . 1 it keeps me busy and tired 2 this year is when I'm trying to get rid of all my cc debt and pay off my car so I just have rent and utilities.
Thanks for reading
