The work hours which sound terrible are a blessing . 1 it keeps me busy and tired 2 this year is when I'm trying to get rid of all my cc debt and pay off my car so I just have rent and utilities.
    Thanks for reading
Congratulations! Keep with it...but remember at some point to set healthy boundaries around you work life. Right now, I can see it as a tool but 75+ hours per week as a habit isn't healthy either.
The easy road is rarely rewarding.

I second the Congratulations!! Good Job!!

Filling the down time with productive up time is one of the big challenges. You got that, I would now work on balancing that time with work/play & self/family/friends.

Fortunately it was an upright and only fell sideways about 700 mm.

I've been robust and healthy all my life until several unexplained falls in 2014, three broken bones, vocabulary gradually slipping, couldn't keep enough notes to remember things, lost my job of 17 years... wife finally dragged me to my doctor. The day after a CT doc told me I had brain cancer; next day he ordered an MRI to better see the tumor - radiologist told my doctor he didn't know what I had. I was admitted to the hospital Septembr 30 and then began two weeks of testing - brain biopsies, arteriogram, spinal taps, blood tests several times/day. Teams of doctors with different specialities coming into the room twice/day telling me they still hadn't figured it out. After a while I could barely speak, my balance was shot, thinking muddled and I lost 25 lbs. Finlly diagnosed with an extra-rare brain disease (not malignant or contagious) and started on chemotherapy. Home for halloween.

Lost my memory - can't remember 90% of new stuff if I don't somehow record it (smartphone claendar works pretty good)
Lost my balance - can't risk walking without a cane.
Lost a lot of cognitive skills.
    Lost my job.
Gave up a 45-year motorcycle passion - sold my wheels
Can't drive for indefinite period - selling my car.
Stay-awake stomach pain oe headaches from meds a few nights/week..
My eyesight craps out withut notice sometimes for hours, sometimes for five minutes.
Five minute things might take half an hour, might not.
No prognosis - might stay hw I am or might improve x-percent.
Not supposed to shave with a straight razor for a year, crap icing on the cake.

Happy to be alive, not depressed, wife and kids still love me. Sense of humor usually intact in spite of lliving in slow motion etc., etc.

How do I feel? No idea. Ask me later.

Mister Moo, without your humor you'd be in dire straights. I applaud you for it. Can you still shave with a DE?
(and I was going to post a complaint about a hangnail)

Get better and please, keep us informed as you gain strength and recover.
