Thanked: 3227Lovely humorous story. To think we got the strap for throwing snowballs in grade school. Well, they had to catch us first.

Never fight Norwegians in the snow. Especially if you're from South US
Stalin learned not to mess with the Fins. I guess Texas learned not to mess with Norwegian school kidsTil shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

As an army veteran I know US Marines can be short and ugly and they must get airborne training from the US Army. When their USMC tattoos are covered by winter clothing they become weak, confused and ineffective. However, I am told, they become indefatigable, strong and handsome in deserts and tropical jungles.
I have been to Norway. The people generally seem to start off tall or beautiful or both. And I know the Norwegian kids are tough. The toughest of them grow up to become Norwegian Special Forces or members of Air/Sea Rescue Squadrons; they are trained at secret facilities run by Finnish children.Last edited by MisterMoo; 02-06-2015 at 12:05 PM.

And by the way... I salute all servicemen, no matter what branch their in. All equal in my eyes :<0)Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
