More news out today. Apple has been trying for a while to talk the broadcast networks and their peripheral affiliates like ESPN to come over to the dark side and put together what they call a "skinny package" of channels for AppleTV at a reasonable price. Apparently the networks have finally gotten serious about it. Rumor has it that they are working on a basic package that would have about 25 channels and include ESPN. As I stated previously, I would drop my current ISP/cable package which has only one premium movie bundle (Starzz) and cost me like $200 because of lack of competition if i could get sports on AppleTV. and use streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime. Looks like I might get my wish.
