I'm not giving a random idiot my $800 camera or my cellphone with my access codes to SRP to take a photo of me wile my head chopped off.
Or for the simple fact that I haven't installed the remote self destruct option in either for the off chance they decide to skip out with my gear.
But I sure won't be taking ANY "duckface" or "mirror" selfies.

I looked that up with google once .... 'gang signs'. They do mean something to specific gangs in specific geographical locations. They mean nothing outside of those circles AFAIK. Weird that popular culture, if you want to call it 'culture', picks up on such stuff.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

the selfie pole I imagine is a better option then handing over your smart phone to a stranger to take a pic. They hold so much information today, Phone #'s, pic's, address's of other people, email, I just wouldn't hand that over to someone.

Oh I know the joys of chive my friend. I'll edit my original statement and say that chivette's can take selfies.

Late to the game here, but I also do not at all understand why males would want to take pictures of themselves, let alone get a stick so that they could do it all the time.

I can sort of understand it for women. Women are always trying to accumulate memories, and they love to take pictures of themselves or each other and scrutinize the pictures or fantasize about what someone would say if they were looking at their picture.

But men? I don't get it. I guess it's part of the new sensitive male thing.

Works for me as long as you don't want to come over and take a whole bunch of close up pictures of us so that we can sit around and marvel at ourselves!!

My grandfather would turn in his grave if he had a grandson who spent his time worrying about what he looks like in pictures, or who took pictures of himself and looked at them like liberace would have!

I would recommend not taking a canoe into the back waters of the Amazon or the flood plains of Patagonia. They are not definite on how big a Anaconda can get.
