Retired. (Translation: backpacking/hiking, informal shooting competition, sometimes active in gun legislative issues in IN and surrounding states.)

Some consultant work in the pre-retirement arena of electronics and mechanical engineering. But... only when the offer is more interesting than, and doesn't interfere with, the first paragraph's activities.

Law Enforcement, my 38th anniversary is coming in May. Retired from the first department about 8 years ago and will hopefully retire again in three years. Most of my time was spent as a major case detective but now my low stress retirement job is as a classification deputy in the jail, still a certified deputy but too old to chase tail lights on the midnight shift and the wife has told me my road days are over.

I'm not an expert, but if you look to the West, you should find some water.

    Drought? What drought?!?
Yep, reservoirs are filling and the releases are high. I was sampling on the Sacramento R. this week and hadn't seen that much flow in many years. Been a wet year.

I'm a child psychiatrist and specialize in working with children with severe medical problems. Most of my career has been in children's hospitals, seeing children on the burn unit, the trauma unit, the ICU, the cancer unit, etc.
