DS86, A lot of us have been where you are now. Take it an hour at a time and then a day at a time. Keep your eye on the prize and you will get your life back. We will always be here for you. All the best.

You're welcome at my place anytime. Bring your shaving gear and we'll get it all tuned up.

That's a demon that many have fought in different forms. You are on the right path, just keep striving toward the goal.

I was scared to take the path of sobriety at first but stuck with it and have never been so happy and comfortable in many, many years. I have more time now to live, laugh, love and enjoy the things in my life.
Live for today and tomorrow will take care of itself! My thoughts are with you!

Find your Zen and move toward it.
Keep your concentration high and your angles low!
Despite the high cost of living, it's still very popular.

I am surprised that no-one has brought this up:
Be aware there are 13th steppers that prey on persons in the program by various subterfuges. Yup the new "Good Buddy Pal' can be a rip off artist. Be introverted till you are aware of the personalities involved in your group! Yes, I did find a few that were less than stellar in the 12 step groups I entered. Also, If the group feels "off" get out and find another one. There are some sick groups too!
I hope your experiences, for the most part, do not parallel mine.
Be well and prosper!
