Well the song Rawhide springs to mind for me I always thought that I was an angel but if you spoke to my parents they would say that I was a fallen one

OK, OK - I've found the perfect song to describe my late teens/early 20's:

(I've got no idea who those guys in the video are, but it's the only version of the song I could find in original form - they are pretty hilarious.......not!)

Thanks! That was GREAT. My old man loved that film which is another reason why it brings back childhood feelings.

Gotta be one of the best lines:

"I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'...
Because I'm free. Nothing's worrying me."

    Great philosophy, heh.

Default since I started this thread

The only song that comes close is David Allen Coe
    "If That Ain't Country"
I can't find a good You Tube version, they are both new and changed.

If you take out the veteran father and yard full of cars that's it right down to the whore sister.

Right up till about 14 when I hit the foster home circuit anyway.
Can't find a song to fit that.

Course parents are divorced now and no one really talks to anyone much.
Think my sis quit whoring but not sure since we haven't talked in years.

I like the vid of the guys boogey boarding, that must have been nice.

..and I remember when these four gentlemen appeared on the music scene...and changed it forever....their hairstyles shocked everyone....their music was different....you either loved them or hated them.....but they definitely left an impression....
