Seriously though, I'm coming to realize that sometimes trying "change" how we're feeling or trying to "move away" from feeling bad can add to our stress and bad feeling. Sometimes, it helps to just feel bad and accept that. Take some time and sit with feeling bad. Be aware of it - lean into it if you will. This isn't easy to do, but you can keep trying. By doing this your not using that energy to get away from feeling bad. Things will change. They always do. Just a thought.

Jasmine tea does it for me...most of the time. Failing that a walk by the sea or in the country listening to some good music.

Long drive, with the music cranked up (Skynyrd) and a favorite pipe and tobacco, or since gas is so expensive, my alternative, sit by the lake with a cold drink, my favorite pipe and tobacco, I might even take a friend along lol.

My favorite thing is to get in bed and drift in and out of sleep while watching great funny movies that I have already seen so I dont have to pay much attention. Movies like Airplane, kentucky fried movie, mel brooks stuff, scary movie series, etc etc. Every now and then I will get out of bed and have a few spoonfulls of ice cream.
As far as sex...ya its nice, but it only makes me feel better for a little while, sometimes I will add sex to the mix, but someone laying in bed and fading in and out of consciousness watching old movies and not wanting to be bothered with life probably isnt a big turn on for my wife lol.Last edited by JLStorm; 06-10-2007 at 05:33 PM.
