certain Washington State Patrol Trooper wrote me 3 tickets, I deserved them and I still consider him a friend.

    Amen.
I earned every hated ticket or punishment I received. Still owe a few so, shhh.

Violence begets, and modern media sure doesn't help.

My thoughts, and admiration for those that paid the ultimate price in this most recent explosion of hate.
I fear for the reactions, but hope for the best in people to come out of this tragedy.

I really don't blame just one person. I look at the news media and holly wood and also politicians. Each one makes a lot of there money through keeping the anger and yes the racism going. I believe that at least 99.9 percent of the police are GREAT people that we can't do with out But it seems all these a for mentioned do is make all police out to be bad. There are good and bad people in every race and profession and no one should judge all by one. Please excuse my choice of words. I hate to admit i don't have the education a lot of you have and the gift of writing but I believe in what I said.

I always have respected your choice of words. I look forward to meeting you some day if TC ever gets around to organizing that meet-up!

I'd rather visit you and your neighbors! I've already met my stones.

I envy your upcoming travels. I helped out a relative a few years ago and he may be able to re-pay me some time later this year. If he does, that may just be Harley money that I may ask you to help me spend.

I hope you have a great, and safe, trip!

Our Northern City over the tops are getting into the act also. Seems there is nothing for them to do but protest...
Protesting now about a cop involved shooting where the perp was told, and recorded on a video, loudly "do not reach for your gun......... His seat mate was on her cell immediately, giving the net giving a balled up story.

And yet...they are damning the police for lack of protection from their own people.
There was another drive-by yesterday, Two toddlers, one killed another wounded.

I wonder...how would they handle stopping an unknown vehicle, at "o'dark thirty" for a traffic violation, and not being able to see the person or their hands, and wondering "Is this the night I die?"

    ~Richard

PS. If pulled over anytime; put your wallet/license on the dash and, if at night, turn on interior lights, have your hands on the top of the wheel when the officer comes. Have your passenger place their hands in clear sight also.
May save a mistake..or your life!

Richard, do you know of a source for that "do not reach for your gun" video? I have not heard of it but would like to see it.
