I don't think there is a ""do not reach for your gun" video part yet. It's a he said and she said thing so far as I know so far.
At this point I'm betting we will find a small town (<6,000) improperly vetted and under trained over reacting LEO. Sad
The other poor fellow has a rather checkered past which makes me suspect of his intentions.
All very sad.

Thanked: 30This might be a bad idea if the "officer's" car is unmarked and the "officer" is in plainclothes. In that case, rolling down the driver's window slightly and asking for ID might be a good idea. Unfortunately, not everyone who appears to be a police officer actually is one.

I will watch Fox news and try to see it. I am glad that there is evidence. What i can't understand is why while the man -her boyfriend lady there wounded what she was interested in was her cell phone and recording. If it were me and it was my wife i would be trying to help or something other than recording her death. Kind of makes you think.

I haven't watched the video, and I won't. I've seen people killed up close and personal so I would prefer not to embed another such image in my brain. From the description I read on Fox News I'm thinking the lady began live streaming the episode in case there was any excessive force. I am thinking the LEO had anxiety that overcame his judgement. As for the women continuing to film the incident ....... her old man just got shot 4 times and I think she was probably too overcome with shock and grief at that point to know what she was doing. IMHO.

In that case, you don't stop to begin with.
You continue driving to a high visibility/conjested area, in a manner constant with the rules of the road your on.
If you have a cell, call "911" as you drive.
If the car following you is a "real officer" on duty, you will soon have all the "real police" there to assist him.
Then I suggest you pull over.

Thanked: 1184Personally I think we have restrained the police to the point that if they fart during an arrest the black panthers start a riot. Bring back a lot of the politically incorrect procedures and this non sense will stop. Teach "how not to get shot by a cop 101 " in 6th grade. I say 6th because I think most idiots even make it that far in school.
Sorry , but I am sick of hearing how stupid should be treated better than everyone with a lick of common sense. And then it's my fault and I should lose my rights. PffffGood judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

There is one common denominator in all these events.
All resisted arrest. That is sad... I don't get it?
Like Geezer was saying. Somewhere back in time I got the same form of instructions. Hands on dash, don't move, be courteous and be respect full. Tell the LEO where what they are asking is located. Tell them you are going moving to get what was requested waiting for acknowledgement. So on and so on.
Best advice I've ever received. I will confess to street racing back in the day and put this advice to use more than once. I'd walk or just get ticketed while others would act out and spend the night in the can and or worse.
I've had LEO tell me it's OK and I can relax and others do the full drill, guns drawn, face down, cuffed and into the patrol cruiser while they check me out. Annoying but once they were comfortable most everything was OK. Have been let off with warning for being respectful and overly compliant.
I just don't get why people resist LEO commands. It can be deadly.
Sorry, just letting out some of my sadness. Thanks.

Things were a lot different when I was growing up. We had respect for teachers, policemen, our president and reps in congress. Mid '60s things began to change. Liberal media, news, movies, TV, mostly composed of liberal media, helped ruin this country AFAIC. And Madalyn Murray O'Hair didn't do us any good either. That may have been the worst of all.

I have had enough bull****!
If in such a time you are unable to find in yourself the tiny bit of empathy for your fellow citizens, not to mention human beings, I am going to get you off this place permanently.
That's all. This thread is over and I am not going to issue further clarifications on the matter. I am certain that all guilty parties will figure it out and if they are so stupid to miss it that'll be their last mistake here.Last edited by JimmyHAD; 07-11-2016 at 12:43 PM.
