That's it. TBH, I am too old to know about it and steered my kids away from it. Weird stuff, IMO.

Anyhoo, I obviously don't play Pokemon (unless Cheetah comes around), so sorry to have hijacked the thread!

Obviously, it is tons of fun for lots of....er...pokyfolks!
    Get it on!

Now Tom,, not every game or club has to include guns, violence or stereotypical macho behavior.

On my way to work, I saw a woman must have slept in a hammock in a nearby park. Now that's some dedication!

I think I may be one of very few people in my age group to not jump on the pokewagon. Was at a bar with my father Monday night and it was filled with people playing the game, the owner was working that day and was quite happy with the turnout on a weeknight.

Thank you for moving the thread, I was suffering fat-finger syndrome when I started this thread on my phone....

This thread wasn't really meant to hate on Pokeypeople, more of just another way to gather people together. To see how much this game has helped out the downtown area of my city is simply impressive. It has been languishing in inactivity for awhile, even with a weekly Friday night festival of sorts.

I never played it before this, but since I'm a runner, I figure it's something to do while out around the city. I will say, it is an interesting phenomena, there are people in our industrial lot out walking around at lunch, which didn't happen here prior to the game coming out, if nothing else, it gets people out for a walk at lunch or in the evening, and people end up socializing.

It is pretty cool for what I have seen, there's a dam on a river that runs through town with a park surrounding it. Roughly 100+ people frequent it now, whereas prior to the game there would be no one except a few runners and homeless people.
