OK wonderful. Finally a game that gets people off their couches and into traffic. So close to actual social interaction with other human beings. How good is that.
Keep your concentration high and your angles low!
Despite the high cost of living, it's still very popular.

Only in California, right!!!!
We are having a discussion on a forum dedicated to our local town and suburbs. The topic of Pokemon Go came up and the comment below just typifies why California has some of the stupidest laws in the Nation.

I believe we need to get a petition going for the City of Temecula to ban this. It's dangerous. People are doing it while driving, riding skateboards, riding bikes, etc. It is only a matter of time before someone gets seriously injured or killed due to moving persons on/in vehicles who are distracted playing this game."
Ban a GAME? Yes you read that right, this twit suggest to ban Pokemon. So I couldn't resist in replying to her.

OMG, Only in California....
Aren't there enough stupid laws and restrictions on the books now in California without adding another one to the list?
Guess if we do go there it could be called the "PokeBan Don't Go"..."
I wasn't the only to call her out on her ridiculous idea. The rest of the community followed suite with me and called her out on her ludicrous comment to ban a game. This so typifies the mindset of so many fringe voters in Cali. Soon we will be burnings books again...Last edited by Suticat; 07-19-2016 at 05:50 PM.

I think it is overall a good thing. Technological natural selection.

I certainly can't speak for her, but I would assume her frame of reference could be to ban everything offensive to both the majority of the population and those that yell the loudest and zero in on unregulated activities that individual persons undertake and enjoy.

Thanked: 3795I'm not interested in banning it, but today I did have one woman walk right into me while watching pokemon on her phone. I also saw a woman walk right into a tree today and I assume that she too was doing the same thing.
I hate getting into an elevator at work and seeing everyone staring at their d$%n phones, but now already half of them are hunting pokemons on their d@#n phones.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

This is generally why I dislike most people. I don't even try to contact most of my friends anymore. We'd go out for a beer or 4 and they are all so absorbed in their phones that their beers get warm. I'm a chatty man with the right people and proper socialization is essentially gone.
