Thanked: 0that's a quote-worthy photo.
I think, however, that it's sad that people will try to make it illegal to, basically, look like an @$$. Sure, it's unsightly and not terribly stylish (even if fashionable) to get dressed that way ... and I don't mind laws against indecent exposure ... you know, actually letting the boys hang out ... but showing the world what brand of skivvies you buy? I'd use the same technique as with a teenager who comes home with blue hair or something ... don't freak out, just take lots of photos and say "I'll be showing these to your kids all the time!"

If they wear their pants like that I'd take odds they wouldn't ever make it rich.

Thanked: 4Snoop dog and Pharrell Williams are probably down do their last dollar by now What odds you offering?
I'm not trying to offend you ol'Mate, just making a point about generalisation
I think the law is a waste of time, but i can see why someone felt it needed acting on... am i the only one who gets the red @ss with seeing these kids hoisting their trousers back up every three paces?
Lou (i think) has the solution... make the prison code well known through popular media and all but a handful would stop wearing their strides that way. Some wouldnt, of course, but then you'd know that they were "approachable"

Just after my last year at high school they implemented a dress code. The final straw that tipped that decision over, you ask? Sagging "britches". I believe it was deemed a safety hazard, much like what they tried doing with sandals or "shoes without backs".
I'm a fan of "let the stupid handle themselves". Take off warning labels and let folks go about getting burned by their hot coffee, or sawing off the branch they're sitting on, etc. As long as folks bring about no harm to anyone else, let'm be.
(Of course that's just begging for someone to chime in with something along the lines of emotional distress...)
I find myself growing increasingly distrustful and loathsome towards the human race... but I can't stop watching. Such a kooky lot we are.

Thanked: 0My oldest son who is 13 started wearing his pants like this, until I embarrassed the hell out of him in front of his friends by pulling his pants down to his ankles. He has worn them like that sense.
Personally I think completely stupid to wear your pants half off your ass(unless your a plumber) I see it all the time where I live at. All these teenagers walking around with their hands on their crotches to hold their pants up.
