Well, you might correctly assume from my response that not all of society accepts the concept of "transgender". Likewise, I will confirm that I do not accept the concept of transracial. The mere fact that as a society we have gotten to the point where this kind of thing is being debated underscores how we have collectively lost our minds. Where this idea that we could "identify" with something to make it so is a concept that eludes me. People in western society have become so afraid to be labeled racist, sexist, homophobic, whatever, that they are willing to go along with whatever insane notion the next person dreams up. Tax day is coming up. Tell the IRS that you identify with not owing them anything. Got stopped driving drunk? Tell the cop you identify with being sober. If we use the idea of "identifying" as a means to establishing reality, nothing is real anymore.
