I find it amazing that there's no rivers flowing into the lake, all the water is provided by snow and rain fall.
We visited during the second week of August---the gift shop had most everything marked 1/2 price as it was the end of the tourist season and they would be shutting down in a few weeks.Last edited by cudarunner; 08-22-2020 at 07:23 PM.

Yep, 1,949 feet deep. Deepest in the US and ninth in the world. (That's a lot of snow!)

I work at a hospital with the last I saw 2500 workers at our site. 24/7 so many different shifts. I keep being told for example that my wife's 2nd cousin works there and her name is Sue or Mary. Do I know them? LOL
I feel that I am pretty good with faces but not names so I may know them in passing but not by name.
