It looks like he is using a straight razor, hence the shaving it line. Peeled mangos yes, but shaved?

I know I spent many miles in the back of a Pickup doing 70mph. And when littler, sleeping on the back window deck on the speakers.

My father took a piece of plywood and filled in the foot area of the backseat of a station wagon to make a playpen for me and my brother to take a trip out to California. Circa1964.
