    We don't have much trouble at my campground area that is very moist with a creek and stream in it but the water is moving.

    The fire flys come first, here. That's when I start hearing them in the woods. All hell till around 11-12 o'clock. Then it's bug free till break of light, then we're hit again, just not as bad. I hardly fish in the earnings, anymore, their that bad. No Deet, your mosquito meat.
