You are fortunate to have enough life remaining to benefit by having a furry/opinionated friend! I have been blessed with a few, including one that had to be held while I tried to shave. I'm not sure that I would ask for the extra 20+ years of life span to again enjoy a cat's company though I dearly love them.

This is my buddy. The wife sent me this pic while I was in CA. She said he had been really pissy because I had been gone for more days than usual. He's 18yrs and is loosing weight fast. It wont be long before his gone and it will be a sad day for me!

I don't give a rat's butt who sees my cry when I loose a family member and that does include pets. Anyone who feels someone is weak under those circumstances can go do something useful with a doughnut hole as far as I'm concerned.
