It's funny all you old timers 30+ bitch and moan about millenials. There are also millennials like myself who have college diplomas and work fulltime for a living. There are millenials who still have the values as those before us.
Hey millenials were raised by someone right? If you think about blaming a generation.. Think about the people eho failed in raising them.
There are idiots from any generation. The difference is our generation has brought forth the widespread use of technology and social media so these stupid ideas and things that are out there in the world now show up in the palm of your hand on your cell phone or tablet.
Anyone will say anything about anything. It's the internet and it's called trolling.
You know what helps diffuse this kind of thing. Making a thread about it getting it more exposure, which is what those people want.
Blame individuals for being idiots.Last edited by s0litarys0ldier; 10-27-2017 at 06:43 PM.

Thanked: 3223Once you are 18, an adult, you pretty much own your own actions regardless of who and how they raised you.
I am not so sure something like this is pure trolling. Regardless of that the unmitigated abuse visited upon individuals on social media is more than reprehensible. Anyone who does this, regardless of the generation they belong to, is wrong to put it mildly.
This type of virulent bullying clearly puts those who do it at the bottom of the human gene pool. We do society a disservice by writing it off as "only trolling" and of no consequence. That at least is clear the high school drop out that I am. Having an education does not make people immune to acting like that either. Someone having a Wharton School of Business degree is an example of that.

Propaganda, disinformation, indoctrination, fake news &c. They have been around for centuries and will not disappear. Even for the educated it is sometimes difficult to know what's true and what not.

Thanked: 3223Yes, trouble is centuries ago it could take months for crap to circle the globe, then it was weeks and now it is near instantaneous and everyone has a platform to be their very own Goebbels. That is only half the problem, the other being the monstrous bullying of specific individuals as well as entire groups of people that accompanies it.
