Deer season is open in TN. for black powder and that means I'm hunting now. I go down to the lower field where there is a ground blind and get in my chair do my best not to fall asleep. This is why I carry my Stanley stainless steel thermos full of coffee. I noticed the other day that the insides of said thermos was kind of in bad shape to say the least. I always rinse it out after use but over the years it's got lets just say nasty looking. I get the idea of washing it out with dish washing liquid and hot water. If any of have done this then you know what I did. If you haven't then DON'T. I have spent the last 2 days trying to get the soap taste out of it. I've use every thing I think know to man and it still taste like soap. Looks like it's going to be new thermos time. Just thought I would let folks know if the coffee taste ok then leave the thermos alone after all it's boiling water going in it!
