    Am I the only one here who drinks Turkish? It's kinda like cowboy coffe, but ultra finely ground (espresso grind is too coarse by far), brewed in narrow pots and served in small cups.

    Sounds a lot like Greek coffee. I don't know how to make it myself, but became semi-addicted to it during a holiday to one of the islands (Leros). It's real man's coffee, for sure, and comes in handy after drinking too much Ouzo!

    They're probably the same. I grew up in Serbia and we were unter the Otomans for about the same period of time as the Greeks. Some stores carry Turkish-groudn coffee or have grinders with a Turkish grind setting (which is in most cases barely adequate). If you're doing your own grinding, once you can't feel individual grains when rubbing the coffee b/w the thumb and the forefinger, you got it right.
