Well, if it was effective before the wide spread use of vaccines, I see no reason it can't work today. That is the same thing as having enough common sense to keep sick kids at home so they don't infect others only it is enforced.

Vaccinations are a part of the solution and not the whole. A "practitioner with near perfect results," with "decades experience," should certainly be aware of this. With due respect, that by definition is "not wanting to see."
I value everyone in this forum and do not wish to be adversarial. We as humans are imperfect by our nature, "...of whom I am the worst." On the other hand, we also have a duty as fellow humans not to do harm to others by our actions. That duty is magnified for those taking a solemn oath to "First: do no harm." The physician has 2 duties. One is to safeguard the health and wellness of the individual patient. The other is to safeguard the health and wellness of the public. Part of that duty is to limit the spread of communicable diseases by a series of steps including but not limited to vaccinations against them.
Sorry to hear that about your son, may I suggest he sees a good homoeopath & build his constitution up. Even if he were to contract shingles it can be treated & yes I have successfully cured a patient with shingles.
What people are not wanting to see or maybe just unaware of is that there is other ways to safeguard the health of the public & individuals alike which builds immunity rather than providing a temporary artificial immunity.
All I've been saying in this thread is if you don't want to vaccinate there are other solutions but don't ignore your health.

My grandson, who is also my name sake suffered an adverse reaction to his 18 month mmr vaccination.
He had been ill so it was postponed, so may have been a combination of the two.
Up until his vaccination he really was a monster truck well above average height and weight.
Very healthy, he would eat anything and everything. After being vaccinated, he became introverted and lost his appetite. He was eventually diagnosed with some form of autism. To this day we struggle to get him to eat.
He is now 12 and his 9 year old sister towers over him. Can't help but wonder what he would be like if he wasn't immunised.
One of the concerns I have is the amount of vaccines that children receive compared to 30 or 40 years ago.

Perhaps, it was not the fault of the medications. That period of age is when Autism is normally detected . . . normal until then, then the changes.

I am in the 'mildly' autistic group. My children are also in the 'high function' group. My grand children range from light to severe effects. As with anything, the combinations of parental genes are the deciding factors.
That also effects the reactions to chemicals and medications!

I know a of a President that would probably offer you a job

While we're on the subject of presidents. What's this leader of the free world rubbish?

I'm originally from England and I can assure everyone here that our Prime Ministers did not ask permission from any other country before they acted upon anything, Nato excepted of course - and Brussels but we are so impressed by the EU were going to be seeing that in the rear view mirror.

Incidentally, I had all my shots as a kid and more recently, Flu shot and Pneumonia shot. I'm knocking on a bit (57) and recently spent time in hospital so I can do without some nasty and preventable illness.

    (No disrespect intended)

Since Phrank brought up the issue of the inevitable pandemics in the near future, I'll toss another monkey wrench into the discussion. We are approaching the end of the era of antibiotics' ability to control bacterial infections; from what I am reading, we are already there with some strains of STD's, tuberculosis, MRSA, various staph and strep strains. I foresee our health care infrastructures being overwhelmed even in developed countries within the near future.

The vaccine schedule calls for 72 now. Some doctors and countries wait till the child is older and spread the vaccines out instead of giving so many at once. They have noticed far less complications and autism by spreading them out . Of course there other factors that contribute to a strong immune system such as breast feeding and diet.

Totally. Especially given the fact that you're basically Greek. There is Russian disinformation and the measles surge in Greece. And the US government's appropriate reaction.

from what i understand that is a result of the over use of antibiotics and focusing so hard on one strain of the disease. It allows other strains to take over. It's been noted that even if you get the chicken pox vaccine you are more likely to get a more severe case of shingles later in life, probably because your immune system has been weekend from not being exposed to the chicken pox (and re building your immune system to it) through out your life (since people aren't getting it anymore).
