Fact, NOT "opinion": My son was vaccinated for chicken pox but because he came into contact with it by some irresponsible person who did not vaccinate their child he got a mild case of it anyway. The doctor said it was possible my daughter could then get it also but did not. Even though he was vaccinated he now has the herpes zoster virus and could develope shingles later in life.
Vaccinations are a part of the solution and not the whole. A "practitioner with near perfect results," with "decades experience," should certainly be aware of this. With due respect, that by definition is "not wanting to see."
I value everyone in this forum and do not wish to be adversarial. We as humans are imperfect by our nature, "...of whom I am the worst." On the other hand, we also have a duty as fellow humans not to do harm to others by our actions. That duty is magnified for those taking a solemn oath to "First: do no harm." The physician has 2 duties. One is to safeguard the health and wellness of the individual patient. The other is to safeguard the health and wellness of the public. Part of that duty is to limit the spread of communicable diseases by a series of steps including but not limited to vaccinations against them.
