I imagine it will be good for their overall health. It's certainly good for their happiness.

Some still don't want to risk it!!

Last night we were watching a movie and when it was over cable came back on. It was the end of local negative news followed by national negative news.... blah, blah, blah

...sigh...you know what? I am not listening to that crap anymore. It is going to be what it is going to be and no amount of babble spewing from any amount of talking heads is going to change it. I'm not giving in to the hype hysteria. We know now what to do and those of us who are responsible ADULTS are doing that. I for one am sick of the 24 hr. if it bleeds it leads channels and I'm not giving.them my attention anymore.
    ... SIGH... I feel better now...Carry on.

Ever tried to back track and conceal your tracks in a snowfield.....I haven't but that's what trying to keep up with all the precautions and info is like to me. It's maddening. It's nearly impossible trying to turn my cluttered apartment into a clean room.I drink fluids and tea all the time and wash my hands ad nauseum and I keep my distance but all the media is giving me a headache.

Yea, it is a balancing act. You need to watch enough to know what is going on daily but not enough to drive you crazy.

Right now my biggest dread is going to the grocery store Wednesday morning. Will there be groceries or not? Damn hoarders. We've almost gone back to ww2 rationing days when it's so unnecessary.

I hate the constant bad news and the hype that is going on, but the reality is this “COULD” get bad, 3000 dead already and the peak is still down the road. In the grand scheme of things it’s minor, more people died in car wrecks, but the potential for 80,000, 100,00. Or more not that we couldn’t use a thinning of the stupid people but it’s the ones who get infected because a stupid person doesn’t listen. The country is pretty much on lockdown and it’s tough for some but a little restraint and smart thinking will make this go away much sooner. A month of sucking the belt up is better than scores of dead.

So I feel for the ones who need to work, but the greater good, or as Spock said “ the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few “ if you don’t need to go don’t. My wife has doctors appointments every week. It’s been all phone and video. It’s working just fine and prescriptions are delivered. I,m the only one going out and that’s been 2 trips to the store in 2 weeks, and the dog walks me twice a day.

I agree I would like to see some good news instead of round the clock covid19. I think the world would relax if we just have 1 hour news and 23 hour South Park, and a big fatty
