I did not say that it was Mob Rule

I said the Swiss model of of Representative Government was the closest to TRUE democracy in the world today

That is NOT my opinion that is a fact

You made an erroneous assumptive leap

True Democracy is Mob Rule and have never endured throughout history those are facts not opinion

AND the Swiss have not had the same government for 700 years.

Actually the Swiss Constitution was modeled after the U.S but has around 200 amendments. it has been termed a consociational democracy.

It has been altered many times over the years and don't forget women didn't get the right to vote until the 1970s and in some Cantons the 1990s.

It's politically a very complex place to live with constant referendums to vote for throughout the year. With their ethnic diversity they always walk a tightrope.

You are putting true democracy on a par level with mob rule which is a fallacy and apply that fallacy to Switzerland. Fallacy upon fallacy.
