30 fillets got a dip in beer batter, then a bubble bath in oil, along with tater wedges, and a ice cold Corona to wash it all down.

If I posted a picture like that here in MN I would have the game warden knocking at my door soon.

    Our possession limit is 20.

I'm no fisherman by any means, I've trout fished and catfish along with fishing for salmon off of Seku in the Pacific Ocean but never for anything like a crappie (which I'm presuming is a relative to what's in Mike's bucket as they look very similar) but my uncle fished for crappie and after gutting he smoked cooked them whole. For the life of me I can't recall much about how they tasted or if you battled bones etc.

I did look up the catch limit on crappie here in Washington State and it's much different from yours Tim---

CRAPPIE, NORTHERN PIKE MINNOW, PEAMOUTH CHUB, PERCH, SUCKERS, SUNFISH, CATFISH (except CHANNEL), ROCK BASS, STRIPED BASS:

No min. size. No daily limit.

They might think that crappies and sunfish are trash fish out there.

Here Our Crappie limit is 10 in possession.

Here is a short list of our limits.
