X, you know you have to cahnge the wife's name now. I suggest "Life-Bearer", "Vessel" but NOT "womb". The child is now the Validator for both of you.

Best of luck... i reccomend chocolate (any kind ot form), Clausen dill pickles, a flack vest and a cup
the first two are for her and should be suplied at least once a day.

the second are for your safety. At some point you will here "It is all your fault", "I should have listened to my mother", "Look at how misshapen my body is", "You will never touch me again!" these may alternate with "I need you NOW" and "I love you" mixed with the occasiona lviolent attack on you because you are a man.

But it will all be worthwhile, as long as you do not forget the pickles and chocolate.

I would also like to suggest a second and third job fort he next few months it might keep you out of harm's way.

but fatherhood is a great trip!
    Be just and fear not.

Some have asked so I thought, rather than write a dozen consecutive PM replies I'd post here on 'our' progress.

So far, all is well *knocking on wood*. We've heard the baby's heartbeat twice now and it is strong and steady. The little tyke is growing so fast that the doctor is sending us in for the second ultrasound early to see if they want to move the due date up a week. Mother is in fantastic condition as well *there's that knocking again*.

Crazy pregnant woman showed up to stay a few weeks ago, but it seems like she only stayed around for about 10 days, then left. I think I prepared her for the change by referring to her "pregnancy brain" several times before it actually showed and she recognized its arrival and has been overcoming it on her own since then. Lets hope that continues, eh?

The funniest thing is how much the size of her belly changes. In the mornings she looks about as big as you'd expect for how far along she is, but by evening it looks like she's grown a few months bigger. Each day is different too. At the end of some days she looks like she's almost ready to blow already!

    This is her morning look:

As for me ... I've actually lost a few pounds even watching her eat. Go figure.

Thanks to everyone who's inquired so far. We appreciate the concern and will keep you all informed as best we can.

    X

X -- great to see that you guys are really enjoying it and that you're all well. If you think she looks like she's fit to burst now, wait till val's 9 months. Skin tight as a drum, bump as round as a ball... I once managed to balance my can of beer on Katie's bump sitting on the sofa watching TV. Boy did I pay for cracking that gag!

I presume you've got a superhero baby grow sorted out?

Good Morning X and Mommy to be

I was just wondering the other day how things were coming along for you two, and I see they are moving along "quite nice". I said it before....but I'll say it again, it's really cool to see how much your enjoying this. And Hey tell Val, I love it that shes sharing pics of her growing belly.

Huggs to you both...well, all three actually

You may want to commission a custom for the heir's face or legs, depending on the gender

Congrats again, X! The book, A Baby is Born is a fascinating study while going through pregnancy. You may have already seen it, as it has become a real classic. If not, give it a perusal with the wife, you'll really enjoy it.
Oh, and the the pregnant brain syndrome can last for several years - REALLY.
Good Luck to you and yours!!
