I would not go that far as the USA is one of the top 3 greenhouse gas emitters but don't worry Canada made it into the top 10. Volcanoes erupting you have no control over but this we do to a great extent.

Just some burnt weeds. I killed off all of the grass and weeds in the bed then burnt it.

California's "Water Year" just ended, and the stats are out.

2020-2021 was the driest year since 1895: statewide, only 49% of average rainfall, with some areas as low as 26%.
Here in the San Francisco Bay area, the number was 39% of normal.

Water reservoir storage statewide: 57% of normal.

Most of the water districts in this area have water restrictions on customers of from 10-50%.

Lake Tahoe water level is down 5 feet.
Lake Oroville (California's largest reservoir) is 271 feet below capacity.

    Let the rain dances commence!

We've only had two small rains in months. It's raining very gently as I write. It could rain like this for two weeks and not do any erosion. However it's only supposed to be for tonight and then only a slight chance of rain tomorrow.

I do hope that the rain gods bless you as well.
