Thanked: 13249I think you just proved Paul 100% right with his statement
You also just did EXACTLY what I said you would do
Dems following their playbooks as they are instructed
This is why you lost and have the lowest rating in the history of your party
Or it could be that you haven't mentioned a solution to the Ukraine Issue again, I guess you agree with Zolensky and Putin to keep the killing going..
You are good as long as the American Piggy Bank stays open right ??Last edited by gssixgun; 05-09-2025 at 02:29 AM.

You mean indictments based on investigations led by a corrupt FBI?
I do find it paradoxical that the same party that believes whole heartedly in the Russia collusion lawfare debaucle finds it preposterous that government officials could be guilty of trying to defraud voters then cover it up.

Also somewhat amusing that they want to hang Trump but give the clintons a pass. (I better not say that too loud. I might suddenly have a heart attack or decide out of the blue to commit suicide.)Last edited by PaulFLUS; 05-09-2025 at 07:59 AM.

Thanked: 13249Realistically speaking this war started in 2014
Not one US administration tried for peace until 2025 included Trump 45
The US taxpayer has has paid between $183- $300 Billion depending on who you believe in that time
To put that into perspective
The USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) is the most expensive warship ever built, with a price tag of $13.3 billion
The F-35 Joint Program Office has agreed in principal to pay up to $11.8 billion for the next 145 F-35s from manufacturer Lockheed Martin
The Air Force expects to spend close to $20 billion on producing the B-21 Raider through fiscal 2027, the actual number is secret
Columbia Class "Boomers" Bloomberg reported that General Dynamics Corp. and Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) were charged with designing and constructing the 12-boat class, a roughly $130 billion program

My party?
I think I've said this before and you didn't believe me then but I'll repeat it now I am not a democrat. Purely Independent. I vote for whoever I think will do the job regardless of party.
I think history has shown over and over again when you appease a strongman he becomes bolder. In the case of Russia history also shows when you let them bluster their way and find no resistance they continue their inevitable march. When they meet strong resistance they fold. Check your history books. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Thanked: 133Funniest thing in this thread is your response when I teased fox news crying about a stolen election. Multiple independent audits, recounts, and over 60 court cases — many overseen by Trump-appointed judges — found no credible evidence of widespread fraud. Fraud by individuals or localized attempts do not equal systematic fraud capable of flipping an election.

We've done a lot of arm chair generaling here and mainly a lot of muck slinging which is always good fun. I guess maybe this isn't all about Ukraine but also about some theoretically unfinished business that has been gurgling behind the scenes. If that's the case I hope we have all gotten it out of our systems.
But in my mind, strictly talking about "the Ukraine situation," it's not really that complicated. Cut off the money and they are going to stop the fighting, if for no other reason than that they run out of bullets.
You can't shoot at someone with an unloaded gun. I suppose they could run out onto the battle field with spears and swords like they did in the old movies.
But if this really is about resources and about modern day takeover of territory and strategic ballistic or even short range missile weaponary then I don't see that as a real alternative.
It's called guerrilla warfare not gorilla warfare. Resources are key. Without them, you're just some joker standing there with nothing but you know what in his hand. That's no way to fight.Last edited by PaulFLUS; 05-10-2025 at 03:59 AM.

Sounds real simple, doesn't it?
Of course, I think we all know, if it's so simple, why it hasn't happened already.
War is an investment in power. Because if you have power, you don't need money. The power brokers of the world are busy keeping us throwing muck at each other in a, "he went that way," effort to keep their cash cows going.
What can we do about it? Well, pay attention and participate in the conversation for one thing. It's easy to say, "I don't like politics because it's just a bunch of people arguing and it makes me uptight," and so then the power brokers win. But really it's the civic duty of every citizen to participate. Past that pay attention to who you vote for and back the guy the in office now. But make sure he's doing his job like he's supposed to.Iron by iron is sharpened, And a man sharpens the face of his friend. PR 27:17
