of course most of the time it will look like the us has spent more lives fighting for freedom cause we usally have more troops in the war, does that mean we care more about it than other counties? not at all we just always have to send in more troops than anyone else so it LOOKS like we are savior and can try and take the credit. we have a bigger army than most countries and usally have more men on the ground, even in wars such as vietnam and korea im pretty sure we had more troops there than the hosting countrys, however proportionally i dont think we sacrifice much more than anyother country although it may look like it.
well that is just two cents from a us soldier

Look at this eye
Does this eye look like it cares?
Well this onematches !! ©
EDIT: I just wanted to copyright my OTHER saying before Uncle Lou stole it TOO.
Also, seems to me that other countries have lost more people in wars but if those wars were on their own soil then they were fighting for SURVIVAL, not freedom.Last edited by gratewhitehuntr; 09-12-2007 at 11:18 PM.

I knew if I gave it some time I'd find a quote of what I heard Fred say. It was from his appearance on Leno: (italics/bold mine)
"Our people have shed more blood for the liberty and freedom of other peoples ... than all the other countries put together. (Applause.) And I don't feel any need to apologize for the United States of America."
