When I was in Germany, there was a Sardinian-run Italian restaurant that served a wonderful brick-oven pizza:

thin crust, light sauce, basil, mozzarella, prosciutto, mushrooms,......and two eggs, sunny side up. The pizza was called.......

    The Sophia Loren!

No joke! And it was a great pizza!

I have had a seafood pizza like this in Auckland, NZ, while I was sitting by the bay, and it was unbelievable.

Just whack some Jalapenos on anything and there's my favourite.

Any pizza I've had while I lived in Italy. Love pretty much anything - anchoves, artichokes, capers... Ah, plus the usual stuff...
I really dislike the pizzas here in US, nothing very good where around me and whenever I go to the city (NYC) I can't get enough great mexican food (and sushi) so I haven't gotten to try the pizzas there, but I'm sure there are great places there.

Thin crust, lightly spiced with basil and oregano. Olive oil, tomato sauce, spicy sausage, parmesan cheese, artichoke hearts, eggplant, cracked pepper, garlic galore. Mmmmmm. And one last thing, it must be cut into squares.

Just like I used to have when I was a kid in Bella Napoli.
Pizza Margharita! Created in Napoli and named for one of Italy's queens and the first pizza made in the US in New York for the local Italian workmen to take as their lunches.

    (ain't the Food Network great?)
