My other hobbies include pottery and fish keeping.
As a starving student, the only way I can afford to do pottery is by being the studio assistant in the Ceramics department at my college. And my fish collecting/keeping has been placed on hold until I graduate in a year and a half. I can just barely afford to keepup with the few fish that I have left. Ah well looking forward to graduating and the increase in earning potential that will follow.

I like to run and bicyle on my off time, off-road bicycling that is. I also still paint and collect table top wargame miniatures. I bicycled the Trinity River bottoms today and am dying from sunburn!

I really enjoy cycling, both road and off road. I also am something of a gun nut....from modern assault rifles and machine guns to custom made flintlock Kentucky rifles...I like them all.

Same here. I roast my own beans at home for most other brewing, but when I crave for espresso, I hit the local coffee house, which is actually a nice, quaint New England brick establishment beside the town post office. Non-preppy.

I like old stuff - I collect and write with fountain pens, mostly vintage ones. I love photography - I still shoot black and white film in old, meterless mechanical cameras, mostly rangefinders. I roll my film from 100 ft bulk rolls, I develop them, and make prints in my basement darkroom. I also have a small rotation of quality mechanical watches.

I too have too many hobbies for my own good. Here are a few in no particular order:
    Martial Artist
    Magician
    Shooting
    Archery (longbow mostly)
    Prospecting (thats my job too)
    Writing
    Scuba
    Flint Knapping
    Astonomy
    Bushcraft

the list goes on and on and then add my experiments and studies on top.
Its a wonder I get time to shave!

Nope, it's a route to another acquisition disorder.

I've got a drawer full of padlocks, cylinder locks, combination locks, etc of every size and description. I can't walk into a hardware store without being drawn to the lock section. I shudder to think how much money I've spent on locks over the years but it's far more than I've spent on all my razors, soaps, creams and brushes.

Although lockpicking tools themselves aren't that expensive (except curtain lock picks).

I am joking. My real hobbies are cooking (especially outdoors in my smokers) my MINI Cooper S, my artwork, photography and my critters. You can pretty much get to know me by looking at my website:

But what a great and talented bunch of interesting folks we are. I am happy to be a member of this fine community.

You do realize that your hobby could be paying for itself don't you?

    • I brew beer and then give most of it away with the firm stipulation of getting my bottles back.

    • I play banjo on again and off again for the last 6 years. (mostly off again)

    • I attempt to read anything that piques my interest in between hobbies.

    • Most recently (just this past week) I picked up woodcarving which is loads of fun and very relaxing.

    • I used to play dodge ball until I learned the hard way that fat guys aren't supposed to run and jump like the sports heroes in the movies. (twisted my knee pretty good)
