I think the State is wrong period. I don't think I should have to get a license from the government to do, say, carry, or operate anything. I don't think there should be a license issued to have children. It does upset me when I see responsible middle class people who can afford to take care of them, having one or two kids and then you have poorer folks having four or five children and stressing the welfare system to the max. I am thirty one years old and as a personal choice, I will never have children. I don't want the responsibility and I don't want to raise a child in the world we are living in today. I also absolutely don't think that I need permission from the State to have a child should I change my mind.

Not so much a "what kind of a world do we live in" rant, but an amusing discrepancy.

While the rest of the world is busy policing people's smokes for traces of cannabis, the Dutch are busy tracing people's smokes for tobacco.

(The Netherlands are the final EU member state to implement the ban on smoking cigarettes in public places and this has thrown their popular coffee shop culture into disarray. Customers can buy cannabis openly and freely within the cafes, and can even smoke them in cafes as long as they contain no tobacco, because that would be against EU law. So the police are now busy ensuring that all those stoners are not sneaking a little tobacco in their spliffs!)

I think the world I live in is pretty sweet. I try to not worry about what other stupid people do. I'm one, don't worry about me I'm fine.
I like to roll my own cigs. The Gov'ts love their tax revenue and spend my money on all kinds of poop. If they out-lawed tobacco who'd pay for their loss?
