And I took none
I don't think I'll ever be running for office. I've been through enough campaigns that I don't know that I want to put myself through that. The times will have to be extremely horrible for me to consider it. Besides, I haven't reached my role model goals yet

I'm back with the joint second people on my list
Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse for saying NO and standing up for what they believed in. And for having the strength of conviction to stand up for their rights.

'Curious indeed how these things happen. The wand chooses the wizard, remember.... I think we must expect great things from you, Mr Potter.... After all, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named did great things — terrible, yes, but great.'

- Spoken by Mr Ollivander
something like that, I'm guessing.

Yeah, that's hwat I think as well. But I'm still curious as to why Traveller picked them. What HIS motivation for it is.

Alexander was a military and political mastermind. He introduced the professional army and the total war state.
I'd say Hitler and Stalin for the same reason as my above post. But that's just me

The third little pig: Not only did he know how to stay out of trouble, he knew how to profit from it
The farmer's wife: She didn't let any rat's handicap stop her from performing justice

Tough question. (Sidestepping the whole Hitler/Stalin thing for a moment, though I'm curious too, and I did once have a cat who looked like Hitler .) My list probably changes from time to time; but as I ponder it now, in no particular order:
--Abraham Lincoln, for his wisdom, compassion, and courage, as well as his eloquence and humor.
--Thomas Jefferson, for the depth and breadth of his thought and the way he turned his genius to the formation of a new republic (along with many others--his whole generation could pretty much be on this list).
--William Shakespeare, who brought worlds to life.
