    Default Palin vs Biden!

Without the editing, with having to think on their feet, what are your impressions of the two VP candidates now after their debate?

She couldn't help it. Her bar was so low that if she simply managed to come out on stage an not drool all over herself, she'd improve her image.

Results will depend on whether people notice that she repeatedly veered off the question she was asked to recite the rote answers that she was prepped with. I'm not saying I blame her -- we've all seen how she performs when she's actually unscripted. But whether people will notice or not is the question. Also, her untruths about Obama, which she repeated even after Biden had debunked them, may not help her.

Biden performed better than I'd expected. CNN's tracker spiked very, very high when he talked about Cheney.

Gwen Ifil was terrible. She utterly failed to keep Palin on-topic. She didn't even try. But then, she's a close friend of Condoleeza Rice.

I suspect that people will see what they wanted to see, which is a victory for Obama. No game-changers here.

Biden seemed to be totally infatuated with Gov. Palin...I was able to force myself to watch the last 15 minutes after getting sick from the 1st hour. They put on a good show but that's it folks. You need to make a serious life decision here. Are they for us or against us?!? I think I threw up in my mouth when I heard Palin get all wet because her and Biden both love Israel. WTF. Which country are they running for office in? That hair in the eye thing bugs me too...

Ok,...I'll admit it...Palin's hair made me want to grab some scissors and Biden puffy eyes needed some cucumber action.

    OH S#!T!!!!! AMAZING DENNIS, AMAZING...

Anyway, now that I almost stopped laughing, it was a very predictable debate. Palin had so many scripted answers it was like she was answering the imaginary questions in her head. Yes, Gwen didn't do much to help the debate. I think it is a shame how people will probably look at this- that Palin did a good job considering... If that is the current view of what a good job is, I must be Jesus Christ... not that he existed.
