I am 34 and a gormless twit (Academic variety), and one of the worst kind: a writing git; I have also been a slave in many other jobs: secateur factory worker, helper at a mechanics (Mercedes and Ferrari), caretaker in a printing factory, mountain infantry man, waiter in a hotel (situated at 2339 m.) and teaching assistant... Now I am finishing my PhD and trying to find a decent work - marriage brings responsibility among other things.

Trying to start:
IT Consulting. Man there is money in that!
Game Call maker. I haven't turned one yet, but I hope to get a few under my belt by the end of the season.
Currently:
Database Programmer at a VERY high profile US Homebuilder. I write (read: fix) integration code for our two CRM and sales applications. I also run support for both apps. [1 year + at this point]
Past:
[1 yr +] System admin at same company for same sales apps. I know this business pretty well by now.
[3 yrs] Implementation Specialist at a CLEC for SMB's (small to medium businesses).
In there somewhere:
Penn State grad with the first IST - Telecommunications Associate Degree conferred.
Penn State grad with IST - Integration Baccelaureate degree
Age: 25 and counting
EDIT:
IST = Information Sciences and Technology
CRM = Customer Relationship Management
And yes, that math works...kinda. I had a full-time desk job less than 3 months after my 20th birthday and went to college part time for 3.5 years after getting my Assoc. Degree in order to get my Bacc. Degree.Last edited by kasperitis; 11-19-2008 at 10:15 PM.
