Last night I enjoyed a nice Cuaba solomon
What a treat. My regular smoke is a A. Fuente cuban corona in a maduro rapper. Today I'm going to try some of the so called vintage cigars like the Macanudo vintage 1997, or the Punch rare corojo, cant wait. Tim

I just got back from Reno, I was taking some class' for work. Being from California I'd almost forgotten the feeling of sitting in a bar, smoking a cigar, having a drink and watching a ball game. In Nevada you can still do that. I smoked 2 Cohibas the first night and 2 Macanudos the second.

Thanked: 0The problem with cuban cigars is that they are not regulated the way they used to be. Cigars from the Domican Republic, IMHO, have surpassed Cubans in both quality and taste. Current cubans are iffy, today you may have a great cuban R&J and tomorrow you may have many bad sticks from the same box. Also when the cigar Dons left cuba, Castro kept producing cigars using their name. So the Cohiba from the DR is not the same company as the Cohiba from Cuba (and usually lesser quality).
CAO is one of my favorite brands. Very tasty.

Thanked: 4942Just picked up a box of Licenciados. Forgot how nice these moderately priced cigars are. Any of you guys ever tried them? They seem to burn very evenly and are full bodied, but not overpowering. Lynn

Just ordered a box of Black pearl cobre torpedos. A nice cigar, not real strong, an easy draw with a big puff of smoke. For something spicier I can recomend you try Joya de nicaragua Antano 1970. A real nicotine buzz. Dont smoke one on an empty stomach. Very tasty though. Tim

Lynn, Its a VERY GOOD cigar IMHO. Its a very creamy smoke. Full flavored, but not too strong. Try one. I love them, I'm thinking about getting a box of the gol's. It goes nice with a dobble shot esspreso.

Cool free cigars! Reminds me of a B-B-Q I went to a few weeks back. I brought five sticks from the local smoke shop. When I seen my brother-in-law I offered him a cigar, and when he took my offer I noticed his buddy lookin at me like a puppy dog begging for a chew toy, so I offer him one too, to be polite. He gladly accepts, but when I offer to clip the end this guy has the nerve to tell me he's going to take it home and smoke it later! What an a@$ hole. Here I am, handing out party favors to a guy I never met.
