Thanked: 0Lynn,
The Dominican Cohiba is nice. I also noticed that you liked the CAO Brazilla. That is one of my favorites. CAO makes nice cigars at a great price. My personal favorite is the Brazilla Samba. One cigar that I had been really wanting to try was the Oliva's Master Blend. I got to try this cigar a few weeks back and it was great. Smooth, medium bodied with a lil spice. Perfecto! http://www.top25cigar.com/reviewdata...d=yes&pkID=547
Here is a great site that I use for reference. http://www.top25cigar.com/reviewdata...p25reviews.asp
They have all kinds of different rating all done by guys like me and you.

Thanked: 4Hey Lynn: ever try the Punch Punch Rothschild Maduro/Maduro? Really nice m/f smoke. I picked up a box at the Selma JR cigar and they're lovely. They need a bit of aging (IMNSHO), but they're pretty nice now.

Thanked: 0Pre-embargo Cubans
I have smoked the Pinar 3000 I found it a good cigar, medium bodied, Yet the draw could have been better and the burn was a bit uneven, the flavor had a bit of an exotic spice note. To get the maximum out of it I would definately recommend aging it for about 8 months in a humidor.(I work part-time in Cigar Shop in South Florida). If you like that I recommend the 'Montecristo Afrique' or the 'Edge' By Rocky Patel. Both have a great medium body smoke and have exotic taste notes. The Edge is the easier of the two to get and is a great buy at about $3 a pop.

I use multiple humidors. I have a large, 300 cigar capacity one that I start aging cigars in. Then as they age I gradually move them through 3 smaller humidor (50-100 capacity) until they're aged enough to go in my "smoking" humidor. This way the cigars I smoke have aged an average of 3 years. Of course it took me a couple of years to get it working like that.lol.

Thanked: 15The best 2 cigars that I have smoked in the last 2 or so years that I have been smoking good cigars. The first one was a 1964 anniversary Padron maduro robusto. A great smoke burned evenly and had the best spicey peppery taste that I have ever tried. The second was a Fuente Fuente OpusXX. Was not spicey like the padron but a very good smooth not over powering smoke. Like the first one it had a good bit of nicotine but not to much. The only draw back to these excelent smokes is the price. The padron cost me about $12.00 18 months ago. The opus XX was around 17.00 2 months ago. Cant afford to smoke these everyday but a great smoke for special occations.
