the type of alcohol that is in beer and wine and liquor is believed by many to be a neurotoxin that can poison your brain. it also messes with you hormones, which is very bad. i will admit that still like a beer here and there and i don't mind wine. but for me it is probably about once a month now, and in the last 4 years i can honestly say i have been drunk twice, and i payed for it. this is my motivation for sure, NO hangovers.

the best way to be healthy is to put good things in your body and exercise. that doesn't mean 40 supplements a day, just good food and lots of good water.
    Moderation in everything, including moderation.

What is good for the heart is bad for cancer, and vice-versa.

    As mentionned, moderation is good.

If you stay away of everything that in strong doses could be bad for your health, you'll only die healthier... and bored.

Jesus drank it...that's good enough for me

Straight from people who make their money guessing when people die, moderate amounts of alcohol, especially wine, are good for you and will boost your life expectancy. I think this is just a ploy on France's part to make their citizens die sooner and make room in the system

The UK is running annoying TV/radio ads saying "Did you know that if men regularly exceed 3 to 4 units a day, it could add up to a serious health problem."
YouTube - Responsible Drinking: Men's Units Add Up

But every time I hear it all I think is: "Did you know that if men regularly exceed 3 to 4 units a day, it could add up to some serious ENJOYMENT"

3-4 units a day is a little much, I agree.

But what about 1-2 units a day?

Or if I get it right, 4 units x 7 days = 28 units, so if I drink 24 beers in my weekend I'm still safe.
