I am sorry but I do not think that any of the above including Dimly Lit Bogseat (thanks honey!) hold a candle to those monsters of rock & winners of the Eurospasion Bucks Fizz.

Thanked: 131Then check out my post- number 14- in this thread.
That depends entirely upon your perspective Mark.
I hadnt realized quite how many death metal bands have entered the eurovision song contest in the past. Either that or this thread is being hi-jacked.

Sorry Sir Sidney!
I felt a little guilty yesterday that the thread had wondered off slightly. Lordi were the first rock band to win a Eurovision, and they were also the first to use pyrotechnics too as part of their act.
To get things back on target, as we know most of the acts offered are cringeworthy at best, but which acts have left you mentally scarred??
In more recent years I have to say it was the Germans with their Country & Western act, including fake cow and pink gingham!!
Then there was that guy that looked like Christopher Biggins with a roll of tin foil on his head, possibly from last year, claiming a preggo memory loss moment here.

I seem to have forgotten that I started this thread and have started another. So I would ask your attention be directed to: http://straightrazorpalace.com/conve...-2009-ftw.html
Alternatively a mod could make the two into one thread ^^
