I grew a beard/stache combo my Freshman year of college for that year and aside from that, a stache/goatee combo last year for about a month or two at the most. It itched around the sides of my lips something fierce and my wife wasn't really into it.
She wasn't a fan not so much for the appearance aspect but the kissing aspect. I didn't know how to get around that obstacle so the facial hair took a trip.

Different parts of the stache may require different qualities in the wax. It also depends on how much forming you are doing.Quote:

This was Christmas. Razor withdrawl was getting pretty bad around this time, so I decided to get my fix.
My roommate has a pretty good curl going on his 'stache. The combo he has settled on is to start with the Clubman clear to thicken it up and coat, then use the Clubman brown to shape and curl. Says they have different consistencies and that routine seems to work best for him.
I'll tell ya- a curled up 'stache (especially on a 26 year old) really pulls the ladies. They're all over him at any party or bar. You're a walking conversation starter.
Mine finally got the point this morning that I can curl it.
I look like Hercule Poirot. I used a Rite-Aid Clubman generic to smooth and then Oregon Wild Hair to curl the ends and a 4/8 Spike to trim under the 'stache a little.
Once the camera gets going, its picture time.
BTW - One of Oregon Wild Hair's claims is that it does not melt with hot drinks.
Well it does not melt in the drier either. My wife WASHED AND DRIED my shirt that had my wax in it. No change to the color, consistency, or properties. It did not even remove the surface scratches in the wax that I put there.
That's a good bit of information. But how do you wash it off?!... :thinking:Quote:

OK ladies, it is time to man up and shave that upper lip. Sure you have all heard how difficult it is to get ATG pass in under the nose but it is so worthwhile.
You are such Nancy boys afraid of a little challenge... next thing you know we will have threads and Forums for goatee and beard fanciers here, just because shaving the chin and the face are difficult and they might nick themselves... I thought this was a SHAVING forum.
