The one thing I really like about this group is that people here understand that there are real people behind the handles.

In spite of the fact that many of us share very different political philosophies and views, we all seem to share a level of respect for others that I never see on any other forum. I think that the moderation here is outstanding, and I think the people here are outstanding as well, even when I disagree. I have said here before that there are a lot of people in this world who I both love and respect, but disagree with on some issues. If we all had the same opinion, how boring would it be? If we all flamed people with differing opinions, how unpleasant would that be?

Thank goodness for this forum and this group (except for Icedog. His posts just make me hungry and/or envious. CURSE YOU ICEDOG AND YOUR LOBSTER BUTTER!!!!)

As they say variety is the spice off life. Everyone is entitled to their view on any subject. The problems allways arise when people try to force that view onto others, as in "I don,t like guns, motorcycles, smoking, drinking, fatty foods, kids on skateboards, cats, dogs, golf, garlic, sharp shaving impliments ect. ect. ect ect so ban them" and the list goes on and on untill no one can do anything. Now that would make for a pretty boring old world!

Like the old saying say,s " LIVE AND LET LIVE "
