I don't know about a mastiff, Basil holds his own pretty well. It is apparent though, when he starts singing the blues that Mr. Toes is wearing on the poor dog:
Basil hasn't made a video yet but his favorite artist is Scott Henderson. Here's someone else covering Basie's favorite song. Fast forward to 1:25 because the guy is talking too much:
