call me sexist, but I think women wear makeup to be seductive to men. do men wear make up to be seductive to women, or to men?

Thanked: 402Well, makeup - when its good - makes you look healthier.
Subconciously this attracts the opposite sex.

Thanked: 235This is an example of the over feminisation of men. It needs to stop now. We straight razor shavers who are re-awakening the lost manly arts should be clear on this. Men don't wear make up. You are either a man or a woman. If you are undecided then come to Thailand and join the ranks of the lady boys.

Unfortunately the judgement that other people may come to is often not the one sought by the person concerned. Mostly, wigs on men tend to stand out like the balls on a Bulldog and said wearer is usually regarded with dersision. Same as comb-overs, or what in the UK is known as Bar-Code bald. I'm not sure that make-up wouldn't be regarded in the same light. Good personal hygiene and well-groomed but otherwise un-modified probably suits most men best.

I spent a lot of time in the clubs as a teenager, perhaps up until age 19 or 20. One particularly hot (still amazed that I was ever with her kinda hot) and, uh, adventurous young lady I used to frequent said clubs with was really into guys who wore makeup. REALLY. So yes, I did. Eyeliner only if I remember correctly.
I'm just glad she wasn't into guys who sawed off their own thumbs, or it would be more difficult for me to hold my drink. I haven't seen her since her boyfriend got out of jail that summer...and I haven't worn makeup since.

Thanked: 735And in regards to sitting down whilst peeing in Japan-
In Japan they often times have these super-deluxe toilet seats: Japanese Masters Get Closer to the Toilet Nirvana. I must say that on a nippy winter morning, the heated seat is nice on the can!
No comment in regards to men's make-up. I think as a group that fusses over shave creams, aftershaves, etc. etc. we are not the ones to be casting stones....

Tell me if any of the following sounds manly:
"I just love the scent of Mama Bears soaps..."
"Baby butt smooth cheeks are the best...."
"Can I use rose water for a post shave splash?"
"Do you guys think the problem might be with my preshave routine?"
I bet if you asked John Wayne about his preshave routine he'd say "Hell yeah I've got a preshave routine. I sh*t, shower, then I shave."
If you told him you spent over an hour a day on the internet reading and commenting on great shaves and the like, he'd probably punch you.
The fact is, straight razor shaving can be just as metro-sexual as it is manly. Depends on how you approach it, I guess.
Re: makeup on guys.... Some people think that guy-liner (eyeliner) looks absolutely man-tastic on guys like Adam Lambert, etc. I don't get it.
