Just bumping this because today I booked my tickets for Avatar 3D at the nearest IMAX cinema. I'll be donning those special spectacles on December 20th.

Me too. I've been waiting over a year for it to come, and have purposely put off reading the book so I could enjoy the movie first. The trailer looks great.

I too am looking forward the seeing the Road. I read the book and am now ready for the flick already. It's been halted from relaese for two years almost. I had a serious falling out with Hollywood a few years ago, and have not watched a movie in the theater in almost five years. So, maybe this indication will paint a picture for you guys about how much I liked the book, as well as the acting of Viggo Mortenson.

    Default Movies

I just can't get excited about anything coming out.

It must be my age or something. I cannot bring myself to watch movies about vampires, action heros, horror stories, etc.

I watched two movies on TCM this month: Clash by Night with Robert Ryan and Barbara Stanwick and Glory Alley with Leslie Caron.

It seems to me that they are trying to substitute technology for talent.

A movie entitled, "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" seems to make a statement of some kind about the status of our society.

I just don't know what it might be!

I did go see Gran Torino and enjoyed it.

Where are the Mitchums and McQueens today? Geoge Clooney and Brad Pitt - Give me a break!

    I am getting old.

Avatar looks promising, at least visually.

Looks fun. I prefer zombies, myself, but will definitely borrow the torrents for it when some kind soul uploads it.

May we inquire the reason for this falling out?

A trailer that's available online looks fantastic. Unfortuanatly, it will never become a film, as it was made only as a demo. Check it out: YouTube - The Grayson Trailer

ahhh that sucks that that Grayson movie will never be a film!!!!! it looked really sweet! though i guess its not really time for Batman to die yet right? they need a couple more movies still

Daybreakers looks good too, i will watch that one for sure though probably not in the theatre.

the last one i saw in the theater was Angels and Demons (which i liked) but it wasn't a must see in the theater movie for me, i could have watched it at home and gotten the same effect.
