Mark, you've gotta be kidding, or you're so politically biased you can't even think right.
Here, I've got another story for you, actually it's a full length movie Capitalism: A Love Story

Thanked: 13249Actually all you folks busting on Mark for wearing his tinfoil hat looking out the windows for the Black stealth choppers, better look again...
I have been hearing more and more about this now, and this guy was on Laura Ingram this morning.... this is looking more and more true....
I kept saying this stuff would never happen in my lifetime, but perhaps I was wrong, thanks to the Liberal Left or more aptly named the New American Communist Party we are going faster and faster in this direction...
And those of you that were the old Democrats, and you middle of the roaders that voted for Obama only have yourselves to blame, for not realizing that he is that far to the left...

Obama is President of a nation in which one out of every 6 Americans are living in poverty right now. This should serve as proof that you cannot tax people out of poverty; you can only tax them further in.
And maybe that is the goal; to end the "APPEARANCE" of poverty by making everyone (except the officials) equally poor.
But in the end, the main reason to oppose (with a club if need be) this new treaty is that it is based on a fraud. While the globalists may well have re-branded and changed their name to "Climate Change" we all remember how the initial push was because of "Human Caused Global Warming" and how anyone with eyes can look around at the 4500 records set for low temperature and snow in the US last weeks and understand that the forecasts cited to justify this new intrusion into our lives were 180 degrees out of whack with the real world.
What is needed in all our lives is far LESS Government, not more.
We should be very worried that Obama may sign away our national sovereignty, but in truth it is not his to give, and Americans are fully justified in viewing any such surrender as a treason against the Constitution and against the people to be opposed by any means possible.

Thanked: 431Excellent Quote
“You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that, my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.”

Thanked: 116So basically you advocate the split of the union?
I agree that California, for example, would do far better if it could keep its federal tax dollars to spend as its citizens want instead of seeing them wasted in another part of the union. The other 14 positive contributor states would also probably fare better without the welfare states.

Thanked: 431He definitely did make the original quote, but not that one. And we're not communists, just being 'nudged' that direction, and there are many and current examples of where that road leads.
Anybody want to move to one of those places ? Go ahead, enjoy. You know, where everyone is 'equal' and gets an 'equal' share (not). Uuuu, just never noticed the big wigs in the fields or coal mines or sloshing through the rice patties, they probly just don't 'show off' those pics fearing that it would just be seen as a photo op.
